Funk Rooftop
Funk Rooftop sits above the city on a warm terracotta deck, and its new guest moves on its own: the horn friend, who charges in a straight line on the beat.
Levels 21 to 30. Ten levels: easy ones to start, a HARD level in the middle and a boss on the last.

The music
A funk track and a UK garage track share the rooftop. Funk is all syncopation, so it is the best district for learning to feel the beat rather than follow the ticks. Garage has a skipping rhythm that rewards a steady thumb.
The new guest: horn friends
Horn friends wind up for a moment and then charge across the floor in a straight line, always on the beat. A charge that hits you costs a vibe. The trick is to step aside as they wind up and boop them from behind while they are still moving. Catching one this way shows a counter callout and is one of the most satisfying moments in the game.
How the ten levels build
Level 21 introduces the horn friends with a 75 friend goal. Level 22 asks for 40 PERFECT dashes in 55 seconds, level 23 for four friends in one dash, and level 24 for a party of 75. Level 25 is HARD: two drops in 75 seconds, with horn friends cutting through your line. Level 27 is a beat streak of 22, level 28 a Hold on, and level 29 asks for 45 PERFECT dashes in a minute, the most demanding timing test so far.
The boss: King Snooze again
Level 30 brings King Snooze back with a busier floor around him. The approach is the same as in Disco Plaza, but the slams come while horn friends are still charging, so keep an eye on both. Waking him paints the rooftop back on the map.
Tips for the rooftop
When a horn friend winds up, move perpendicular to where it is facing rather than away from it. Save your longest dashes for PARTY TIME, when bumps cannot hurt you. On the PERFECT levels, look at your creature instead of the bar: it lands on every beat.
